On the 14th April 2019, South Worcester Lifesaving & Lifeguard Club assisted the annual Pershore Duck race by providing Safety Cover for this event which is organised and run by the Pershore carnival committee.
The day consisted of the team providing Water safety and First Aid capability to all that attended the event in which the team worked alongside the organising team to ensure that the Duck Race ran as smooth as possible.
It's great to report that there were no incident or patients to have to attend to during the duration of the event and it was a day in which was enjoyed by all participants who visited for this event, taking into account the fluctuating weather conditions.
