This year South Worcester Lifesaving Club was again involved in the annual winter league competition. This competition is held over three separate evenings and was hosted by three different regional Lifesaving Clubs, Droitwich Lifesaving Club, Redditch Lifesaving Club and South Worcester Lifesaving Club. Each leg consisted of events such as Manikin carry, Personal Skills, Obstacle race, Swim and Tow with fins with the final leg being and incident based team event . Each leg also consisted of individual races such as rope Throw, Manikin carry and other events.
Over the three events club members won a collection of individual and team awards followed by a vast amount of personal best times for alot of team members. The club also won the following awards from this event:

South Worcester Ladies - 3rd Place Goulding Trophy SERC- South Worcester Jubilee Cup for Life Support - South Worcester Anniversary Shield - South Worcester John Neale Trophy - Teresa Myatt ( South Worcester Vice - chair)
Well done to all that competed and achieved personal best times. The event was enjoyed by all who attended and participated.
