South Worcester Lifeguards Success at Yorkshire Speeds Competition 2019

On the 12th October, South Worcester Lifesaving & Lifeguard members travelled up to Yorkshire for the annual RLSS Yorkshire Speeds Competition.

This Competition gave our competition team and club members the ability to use the skills they have been refining and practicing over the year to apply against Lifesaving teams across the country at this national event.

Club members competed in a large variety of events which included Rescue Medley, Rope Throw, Manikin Carry and other events.

All team members competed at a very high level and all achieved their personal goals including personal bests and medals. Below is a brief outline of some of the team and individual medals we achieved from the Competition.

- 12 - 14 200M Medley - Bronze Medal

- 12 - 14 Obstacle Relay - Bronze Medal

- Manikin Carry - Bronze & Gold Medal

- Mia Robin's- Rope Throw - Silver Medal

- Cameron Leach - 200 M Obstacle - Silver Medal

We would like to congratulate all competitors for their efforts and if anyone is interested in taking part in Competition Training please speak to Vanessa on a Sunday Training Session.
