The South Worcester competition team have been training for a sustained period of time in order to compete at the West Midlands Regional heats for the National pairs Lifesaving Championship. The club entered a number of pairs teams for this event and were competing against teams from Warwickshire, Lower Wick and North Worcester.
The teams had to utilise a whole variety of Lifesaving techniques and compete against the other pairs teams in events including simulated Water Rescue scenarios , Life Support situations, rope throw and other challenging events. The team were very successful at this regional event and obtained a vast array of medals and also plaudits from other teams at the event. This has highlighted all of the hard work that all members of the team have put in order to achieve success at this level.

The overall first place team will represent the West Midlands at the National Finals in Leeds 3/11/18. Congratulations to all who were involved with this event which shows that all of the hard work is paying off.
