About South Worcester Lifesaving & Lifeguards
Our Aim:
SWLLC is a professional and successful voluntary organisation primarily based at Pershore leisure centre. The club's main training night is on a Sunday Evening from 17:00 - 20:00.

Our mission is to provide all members with knowledge and skills in order to develop an awareness for water safety and to obtain a knowledge base to assist any individual who may be in distress in a water environment.

As a Club we:
Teach all members a variety of Lifesaving techniques
Develop young members from an early age to become future professional volunteers
Provide an Aquatic Rescue Service at local events
Provide a Flood Rescue service which is part of a coordinated national/international response group
Actively compete in Lifesaving Sport both regionally & nationally in RLSS and SLSGB competitions.

SWLLC is proud to be dual affiliated with both national governing bodies - SLSGB & RLSS. This provides a unique opportunity to provide members with a vast array of training and knowledge.


South Worcester Lifesaving Club's Voluntary Services
South Worcester Lifesaving Club provides a professional and highly qualified voluntary rescue team for any water rescue Environment. Our vision is to provide a safe environment for members of the public ranging from community events near water to national flood rescue situations. South Worcester Lifesaving Club has over 40 years of experience of providing and teaching all age ranges, techniques and knowledge in how to stay safe around all water Environments.
All members from the age of 8 onwards will complete initially the RLSS Rookie Lifeguard award followed by the RLSS Survive & Save Award.

This enables members to develop their swimming ability, confidence and to learn how to stay safe around all water enviroments.
Competition Squad
Sunday: 7pm-8pm
The competition team consists of a highly motivated group of individuals who's aim is to compete at the highest level of Sports Lifesaving.
