About South Worcester Lifesaving & Lifeguards
Our Aim:
SWLLC is a professional and successful voluntary organisation primarily based at Pershore leisure centre. The club's main training night is on a Sunday Evening from 16:00 - 19:00.
Our mission is to provide all members with knowledge and skills in order to develop an awareness for water safety and to obtain a knowledge base to assist any individual who may be in distress in a water environment.
As a Club we:
-
Teach all members a variety of Lifesaving techniques
-
Develop young members from an early age to become future professional volunteers
-
Actively compete in Lifesaving Sport both regionally & nationally in RLSS UK competitions.
SWLLC is proud to be affiliated with governing body RLSS UK. This provides a unique opportunity to provide members with a vast array of training and knowledge.

All members from the age of 8 onwards will complete initially the RLSS Rookie Lifeguard award followed by the RLSS Survive & Save Award.
This enables members to develop their swimming ability, confidence and to learn how to stay safe around all water enviroments.
