South Worcestershire LifeGuard Club

We are a voluntary club based at Pershore Swimming Pool, catering for both senior lifeguards and those wanting to learn the skills for the first time. New members are always welcome.

New swimming times:

5.30pm to 6.15pm Juniors

6.15pm to 7.00pm Lifesaving 1, 2 & 3 Bronze Medalion and Award of Merit Training

7.00pm to 8.00pm Seniors

On 6th September, in torrential rain and driving wind, the South Worcestershire Lifesaving and Lifeguard Club swam an open-water 12 hour lake swim in aid of The British Heart Foundation. Two of the team; Neil Metcalfe and Kim Owen individually swam more than 23 miles - the equivalent of swimming the English Channel. The club managed to raise £1,000 for BHF and presented the cheque at the end of 2008.
